Doodle 4 Google

One of my favorite contests is Doodle 4 Google! The theme this year is, " If I could do anything, I would..." This is your chance to take the Google Logo and change it into anything you would like! You must have a title for your doodle and a 50 words or less statement to explain your answer to the theme! Happy Doodling!

The Science of the Olympic Games

Ms. Woodard found this link about science and the Winter Olympics. There are 16 short videos on the website, produced by the National Science Foundation in conjunction with NBC news, and none of the videos is over six minutes long. So, it’s a very concise and fairly easy-to-understand explanation of the physics, chemistry, and biomechanics behind hockey, bobsledding, curling, figure skating, etc. Enjoy!
